Typically Dave meets with clients once a week for a 50-minute session. Together, we set goals for what you want to accomplish and when you want to accomplish it. Like a personal trainer, I'll help you develop the skills and tools you need to build your recovery. You will need to practice these skills between our sessions together, if you want to see optimal results.
The number of sessions required depends on you. If you work consistently and with commitment, you will probably need fewer sessions than someone who is inconsistent. I generally recommend starting with 10 sessions to experience solid results.
As a Coach, I am not able to take insurance.
I am not trained to work with children. Clients need to be at least 18 years old.
Because groups are an essential adjunct to recovery, my coaching groups are held at no cost to you.
The group curriculum is based on my 10 week structure for individual sessions. However, it is highly recommended that you continue to particpate after ten weeks.
Groups consist of anywhere from 2 to 12 individuals. As a group member you may suggest particpation in the group to others you know who may need help with addictive or compulsive behavior.
